Smoky Chicken and Red Onion Tacos Recipe

These smoky chicken and red onion tacos make an excellent weeknight dinner. The chicken is seasoned with a smoky spice blend and cooked with sweet red onions to make a flavorful filling ideal for stuffing into soft corn tortillas. To make these tacos even more delicious, add your favorite toppings such as sour cream, cheese, cilantro, or lime wedges.

Instructions

  • Combine smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  • Toss the chicken pieces with the spice mixture in a large mixing bowl until well coated.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the red onion is softened.
