Grilled Fish Tacos with Onions and Lime Recipe

These grilled fish tacos are a delicious way to enjoy seafood. The flavors of smoky grilled fish, tangy lime, and sweet caramelized onions are intoxicating. Make it your own by adding your favorite toppings for a delicious summer meal.

Instructions

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high.
  • Whisk together the olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  • Brush the spice mixture on both sides of the fish fillets.
  • Grill the fish for 3-4 minutes per side, or until done and flaky.
  • While the fish is grilling, soften and slightly char the sliced onions on a griddle or in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Warm the tortillas in the microwave or on the grill.
  • To assemble the tacos, top each tortilla with a few pieces of grilled fish, a spoonful of cooked onions, and a squeeze of lime juice.
  • As desired, top with additional toppings.
  • Serve right away and enjoy.
