Instructions

  • Combine the flour, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, and cumin in a shallow dish.
  • Whisk together the milk and egg in a separate shallow dish.
  • Make strips out of the fish.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the vegetable oil.
  • Coat the fish strips in the flour mixture after dipping them in the milk mixture.
  • Fry the fish strips in the hot oil for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the fish from the skillet and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
  • Microwave the corn tortillas or heat them in a dry skillet.
  • Top each tortilla with fish strips and cilantro.
  • Serve with wedges of lime.
